Scott & Penny Steel
Folkerton Mill has been a landmark since the 1700s, with our most recent structures built in 1871. This grade B listed grain mill, complete with its original large cast iron water wheel, offers a backdrop steeped in history and natural beauty.
Founders Scott and Penny discovered this gem on a rainy day in 2017, immediately falling in love with its potential. They embarked on a passionate journey, renovating and revitalising the mill with the vision of preserving its soul while creating a space for love and celebration.
Scott and Penny, the heart behind Folkerton Mill, bring their personal touch to every event. Scott, with a keen eye for detail and a love for meticulous restoration, complements Penny's big-picture vision and endless optimism. Their combined strengths and dedication have transformed the mill into a beloved venue for weddings and gatherings. Together, they continue to innovate and expand their vision, ensuring Folkerton Mill remains a cherished place for couples to start their lives together.
